How Many Days Until Christmas? Quick Date Calculator

Counting Days Between Dates

To calculate the number of days between any two dates, you need to account for:

  • โ–ถ Different month lengths (28, 29, 30, or 31 days)
  • โ–ถ Leap years (every 4 years, except century years, except every 400 years)
  • โ–ถ Whether you count the start date, end date, or both

Manual Calculation Method

  1. Count remaining days in the current month
  2. Add the total days of each complete month in between
  3. Add the days in the final month up to your target date

Example: From July 15 to December 25:

  • โ–ถ Rest of July: 16 days
  • โ–ถ August: 31 days
  • โ–ถ September: 30 days
  • โ–ถ October: 31 days
  • โ–ถ November: 30 days
  • โ–ถ December 1-25: 25 days
  • โ–ถ Total: 163 days
